So you don’t want to flash that nice full factory image I posted?  What if you are not one of the first people to get the OTA since Sprint said it could take “weeks” for all devices to get it? Read on for the update link and instructions.

Every time and OTA is pushed one of the first things I look for is the android.clients.google.com link.  Here is the one for the NS4G http://android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/google_crespo4g/TAMkDR3z.zip

  • Save the file to the root of your “sdcard” folder.
  • Rename it to update.zip.
  • Power off the phone.
  • Hold Volume Up and Power to get to the bootloader.
  • Use Volume Down and then press power once you have Recovery Selected.

  • If using Stock recovery then you may have to press Volume UP and Power to get past the Android with ! screen.
  • Choose “install update.zip”.
  • Press the Power button and profit.
